Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Serena Cox ("I", "me") collects and uses personal data when you use serenacox.co.uk or contact me through it. I'm the data controller for this information. For any privacy question, contact me at hello@serenacox.co.uk.

What I collect

I only collect what you choose to send me. If you use the enquiry form, that's the information you enter — typically your name, role, organisation, email address and the details of your enquiry. If you email me directly, I hold the contents of that correspondence. This is a brochure website: I don't operate user accounts, and I don't ask for special-category or sensitive personal data — please don't include confidential patient information or identifiable case detail in an enquiry.

How enquiry data is handled

When you submit the form, it's checked for spam by Cloudflare Turnstile and delivered to my inbox as an email via Resend, an email-delivery provider. Your enquiry is not stored in the website's content system or any public database. I receive it as an email and reply from there.

Why I use it (lawful basis)

I use your enquiry to respond to you and, where relevant, to discuss and carry out work — this is my legitimate interest in handling business enquiries, or the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

Hosting and analytics

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes limited technical data (such as IP address and request information) to serve and protect the site; its edge servers may be outside the UK, under appropriate safeguards. I don't use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Sharing

I don't sell your data or share it for marketing. It's processed only by the service providers above (Cloudflare, Resend), acting on my instructions, so that the site and enquiry form function.

Retention

I keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting work and records, then delete it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your data, or object to it. Contact me at hello@serenacox.co.uk and I'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
